Frankly the first version of VSCO left a lot to be desired.
I regretted spending the money on it.
But with an upgrade to Lightroom 4,
and a much needed overhaul to VSCO timed with this new release,
it’s all good again.
I’ve always had a hard time getting to a black and white that
that I really liked – one that didn’t look blue … green … or something.
(For some reason, to me, film produces good black and white
… digital stuff never really did.)
But I love this, and it’s digital.
If you’re not presently using Lightroom, try it.
(It’s my sole editing software).
And for producing realistic ‘film’ looks
try VSCO … it’s finally really worth recommending.
