We have a “mini farm” …
a bit of acreage, a barn, and right now a limited garden of fresh stuff
alongside peach trees, asparagus plantings, and a million blueberry bushes.
Currently it’s sweat bee swatting season.
And while I hate bugs, I love capturing the progress,
the people who enjoy it with us,
and the fresh produce we get to bring home.
‘Pulled from the vine’ FRESH … and good … organic good.
If you’re a grand to Pop, you not only get to learn about
picking good tomatoes, you also get to DRIVE:
And this, I’m sure, is the real ‘draw’ of the farm for Pop and kids.
(A favorite childhood book is “Make Way For The Highway”.)
Good veggies … blueberries and peaches …
are just icing on the (gluten free) cake!
