Such a wonderful, wonderful wedding Saturday in Sweetwater, Tennessee …
David’s family arrived from around the globe – England and Australia.
And they were welcomed with 90 degree southeast Tennessee weather (it has been HOT!).
No worries … such gracious and pleasant people (and I could listen to ‘English’ all day!).
Southern hydrangeas … handmade touches by Mom … delicious food … BLUEGRASS!
And the daddy-daughter ‘dance’ was a duet played while the groom danced with his mother.
Just a few to share for now and many more to go through and share in the near future.
The first is a ceremony favorite …
and the next shows you (and David and Lisa whenever they get back) what happens when England meets bluegrass.
After the happy couple left, bluegrass continued and the English cut a rug … mother Mary proclaiming it to be “jolly, happy music”!
I (and my son) would agree.
… can’t look at the first picture without getting teary (and she’s not even my daughter! … love being a photographer and seeing scenes like this through the lens).
A few more for a sneak peek … and editing continues:
