The bride ‘Holly’ at Holly Hill Farms, Riceville, Tennessee:
Wedding days are sweet, but crazy, days.
Sometimes in the rush of the day there are limited
moments to be able to concentrate on the ‘quiet pleasure’
of just ‘being a bride’ … the feel of your dress … combined with
the anticipation of knowing the ‘real day’ is soon coming.
I’m a big believer in getting the dress on for
an ‘extra’ time if possible … hair and makeup done for ‘practice’ …
in order to take a lot of ‘just you and the dress’ pictures.
It’s the perfect time to get some things settled with your hair dresser,
so that things run smoothly on the day …
and oh! – how much you’ve paid for that beautiful dress!
It just seems a shame to not wear it more than once,
enjoying the whole season of ‘being a bride’ …
One ‘extra session’ is included in full day packages and I include them
for three possible options …
* engagement pictures for announcements, guest book or table prints
* an ‘after’ session for a second (perhaps more scenic) location than wedding day or
* a bridal session with your dress
I’d say ‘Yes’ to the dress!
