Day Trip

A day trip to Biltmore was on the agenda end of March.
I’d never been and husband vaguely recalls being there as a boy.
Welcome to America’s Home” the shuttle driver said …
Lavish, gorgeous, and amazing rooms full of fireplaces and special
‘nook and cranny’ spots. My kids would have been ‘lost’ with hide and seek
for days on end (if they weren’t bowling at the indoor bowling alley …
swimming in the indoor pool …
or working out in the gym and sauna).
It’s real life ‘Downton Abby’ … and since I’m
mainly drawn to detail …

Go visit ‘America’s Home’ if you’ve never been, the gardens will be in bloom!

Disclaimer on the above photos:

These are a few captures from the eye of a wife who needed a break,
an ‘away’ excursion – and time with an overworked husband!

Always pay attention to ‘permissions’ as a tourist, and Biltmore lists them:
Biltmore Photo Policy
“Inside Biltmore House:
Taking photographs by cell phone or cameras, without flash,
is permitted on the self-guided tour for personal use only.
No commercial photography is allowed.”
