Joseph had just completed boot camp when he and Morgan were married in August,
a simple wedding with family and friends and
then it was time to get to work!
So yesterday was ‘wedding picture’ day … a short time to capture
new life together before they head away to base – and deployment.

It’s Spring!

My number one piece of advice regarding family sessions?

* Make the appointment

Portraits are something most people would like to have,
and the session an experience they’d likely enjoy.
But time gets away from us, the desire is ‘forgotten’,
and the session often left unplanned when we know people will be around.
If you’ve added family members or more than a year has past since
your last picture it’s time for an update!
Put on your favorite colors, gather your favorite people, and do it.
If the planning part stops you or you’re not sure what work well together,
start by visiting the Pinterest Portrait Board for ideas …
Something perfectly ‘you’ might be there!

Just 3 more months and it’s on to new beginnings!
Ashley was one of my seniors from a past year.
The day we took her pictures was early in October and it was 30 degrees.
We froze.
But you’d never know it by her pictures!

There’s still time for 2017 senior sessions.
While we might truly be through the cold days of winter,
YOU are not truly through senior year until you’ve enjoyed
a portrait session celebrating the accomplishment.

So many things have happened this year … sport tournaments,
hanging out with friends, (a tornado if you’re local), music,
academics … perhaps college visits … applications.
Do you journal? … keep a calendar? …
No doubt it’s full of things you never want to forget.
One last thing completes the milestone year and marks
a new beginning … your senior portrait session.
